One of the biggest problems that beginners have when learning golf is they tend to look
up when they actually go to strike the ball. This is a problem because it can result in a
stroke being counted even if you did not hit the ball. You can just imagine how this can
quickly add up to a horrible golf score. It is important to always look down until after you
have hit the ball.
Learning the basics is very important in golf. It’s like building, if you don’t get the
foundation right, it doesn’t matter how beautiful or high the building is, it will eventually
come down. Getting the basics right and perfecting it, in my opinion is what makes great
golfers like Tiger Woods who they are. Tiger started playing golf at a very young age, he
learnt and perfected the basics and today he is reaping the benefits.
